COMPANY FACTS

* Privately held company.

* Owned by Jeff Klee, 50%; Craig Fichtelberg, 33%; and Eric Fichtelberg, 10%.

* Sales: 79% business, 12% leisure, 9% other.

2023 DEVELOPMENTS

* Built a trip-change product for customers to complete a large percentage of their itinerary changes themselves.

* Upgraded its platform to support large-scale booking and servicing of NDC bookings.

* Built or enhanced direct NDC connections with four carriers.

* Continued to add capabilities to Gather, a tool that helps companies plan meetings, arrange guest travel and manage travel for nonprofiled individuals.

* Began phasing out extra fees for contacting an advisor, recognizing that an offline transaction is often a failed online transaction in which a traveler wants to self-serve but can't.

* Added more capabilities for reporting and policy control, driven largely by customer requests.

LOOKING AHEAD

* Acquired by Barcelona-based TravelPerk. According to CEO Jeff Klee, the deal will enable TravelPerk to offer more products to its customers, such as TravelPerk's FlexiPerk refundable fare option, free up its development team with the ability to leverage TravelPerk's resources and enable AmTrav expand its global reach.

* Continuing to build out direct connections (including NDC) to suppliers to enhance choice and serviceability for customers.

* Exploring alternative connectivity solutions for hotels to enhance the booking experience for travelers

* Deepening integrations with card and payment providers to give customers more choice and more capabilities for payments, reporting and reconciliation.

* Enhancing offerings for non-U.S. points of sale.

* Believes massive changes are coming to the industry that will ultimately be a huge win for travelers and companies. New innovation will accelerate; tools and processes will finally be modernized; and the bar will be raised for every service provider looking to compete across the industry.
