Travel entrepreneurs Martinique Lewis and Ashley N. Company have partnered to start a tour company that showcases Black communities worldwide.
They have teamed up to launch Black In, which offers tours to destinations with Black communities. Trips focus on supporting Black-owned businesses in each destination.

Lewis is president of the Black Travel Alliance and founder of ABC Travel Greenbook, a resource that connects travelers with the African diaspora globally. Ashley N. Company is owner of Jelani Travel in Washington, D.C., which provides curated experiences for Black clientele.
The first destinations for Black In are Amsterdam, Puerto Rico, Costa Rica and Belize.
Black in Amsterdam: Red Light Special features a Black diaspora food tour and the Memre Waka festival, a memorial march recognizing the abolition of slavery.
Black in Puerto Rico: Living La Vida Bomba features a traditional bomba dance class, happy hour at Black-owned businesses, the Festival De Santiago Apostol and Afro Puerto Rican cuisine.

Black in Costa Rica: Dancing in the Street will take guests on a full-day tour of the Afro-Caribbean neighborhood of Limon, visiting Jamaica Town, Coconut House and G&E Chocolate Adventure Company. Guests will also snorkel in Cahuita and venture on a Puerto Viejo food and history tour.
Black in Belize: All Night Long will take guests to the Creole village of Crooked Tree, watch the Garifuna Settlement Parade and participate in a number of outdoor activities including snorkeling and a waterfall hike.
All trips include four-star accommodations, roundtrip airport transportation, excursions, all breakfasts and one dinner in addition to Black In travel swag.
Departures begin in June and run through November with prices from $2,999 to $3,399 per person.
