Comments FAQ

TravelWeekly.com welcomes and encourages reader comments. For more information about TravelWeekly.com’s policies and procedures with regards to comments, please read our guidelines below. To read TravelWeekly.com's terms and conditions, click here

Comments are moderated. Because comment moderation is a manual process, comments are subject to a short delay before they are approved. Moderation does not take place on weekends or holidays, or outside of business hours (9 a.m. to 5 p.m. EST). We cannot respond individually to inquiries about if, or when, a comment will be approved.

Readers are encouraged to contribute helpful information, commentary and opinions. TravelWeekly.com reserves the right to decline to approve, or to edit or remove any and all comments from the site, at any time, for any reason, including comments that are factually inaccurate; off-topic; contain personal attacks, offensive or obscene language, including racist, homophobic or sexist remarks; contain advertising or commercial content; or are considered to be spam. Commenters who repeatedly post such comments will be banned.

Please email the editors at TWfeedback@travelweekly.com if you see a comment that you believe contains offensive language, personal attacks and insults, off-topic rantings or other behavior that is not in keeping with intelligent and informed discourse. We will attempt to review the concern as soon as possible. However, we do not remove every comment that has been reported, nor can we respond individually to every report.

We discourage commenters from posting their personal information, such as addresses, email addresses or telephone numbers, and we reserve the right to remove comments with personal information about other people.

TravelWeekly.com may modify and print your comment or a portion of your comment in the Travel Weekly print edition, on other parts of the TravelWeekly.com site or in other materials. Travel Weekly reserves the right to edit your comment for length and to conform to our style and standards. For more, see TravelWeekly.com's terms.
