Austria's historical Hotel Schloss Fuschl is set to undergo extensive renovations this year and reopen in late 2023 as a Rosewood Hotels & Resorts property.
Situated along Lake Fuschl, just outside of Salzburg, the Hotel Schloss Fuschl occupies a former castle dating back to the 15th century.
The property was previously part of Marriott International's Luxury Collection soft brand.
Following the renovation, the hotel will operate as the Rosewood Schloss Fuschl. The updated property will house a total of 98 guestrooms, including 46 suites and six chalet accommodations, and several restaurant and lounge concepts.

It will also be home to an outpost of Rosewood's Asaya well-being concept, which will feature amenities like indoor and outdoor pools, eight treatment rooms and a fitness center.
The Rosewood Schloss Fuschl will be Rosewood's second property in Austria, following the recent opening of the brand's Rosewood Vienna hotel earlier this summer.
