Windstar Cruises unveiled details about the first of two new ships in the works, including two new suite categories.

The Star Seeker will have two Horizon Owners Suites at the aft of the ship on deck 7, each with a wraparound balcony. They can be combined with adjacent suites for more space and multigenerational families.

The Horizon Owners Suites will be the most spacious of the 112 staterooms on the ship, although others will allow for triple occupancy.

The Seeker will also 30 new Infinity Suites, featuring a floor-to-ceiling infinity window that slides down halfway from the top -- similar to the style on expedition ships

Ten Oceanview suites will have a window and a walk-in mosaic glass shower. The ship will have no interior cabins. The four highest suite categories (Horizon, Star, Classic and Deluxe) will include amenities like an Illy espresso machine, canapes service and fresh flowers.

All suites were designed to give a sense of tranquility through the use of light wood, light blues, greens and natural browns. Public spaces and restaurants will feature more vibrant hues inspired by sunrises and sunsets with warm yellows, golds and oranges, said Stijn Creupelandt, vice president of Windstar's hotel operations.

Slated to debut in January 2026, the Star Seeker will offer a dozen total suite categories, five dining options, a full-service spa and a new take on the watersports platform enabling guests to access the water directly from the ship.

The Seeker, under construction in Portugal, will sail a transatlantic crossing from Spanish port city Malaga to Miami, where it will be christened before cruising in the Caribbean. The ship will later sail up the West Coast to Alaska, where it will cruise for a full season. The ship will then transition to Japan before cruising in Southeast Asia.

Windstar said the ship's itineraries will be announced in early September. Windstar's Yacht Club loyalty members and travel advisors will get first dibs to book.

The Seeker is one of two ships joining Windstar's fleet in 2026. The Star Explorer is expected to debut in December of that year.
