Universal Orlando Resort on Tuesday released new details on Epic Universe and its Celestial Park world, which will act as the park's backbone and house a hotel, roller coaster and more.

Four other worlds will open with the park in 2025: the Wizarding World of Harry Potter -- Ministry of Magic, Super Nintendo World, How to Train Your Dragon -- Isle of Berk and Dark Universe.

In total, the park -- Universal's fourth in Orlando, including the Volcano Bay waterpark -- will feature more than 50 attraction, entertainment, dining and shopping experiences.

Entering through Celestial Park

Guest will enter Epic Universe via Celestial Park.

Universal described the area as putting "the 'park' back in 'theme park,'" with acres of gardens, walkways and water features.

That world's architecture will take its cues from astronomical and mythological elements, Universal said in a release.

It will feature a roller coaster, Starfall Racers. The dual-launch coaster will go up to 62 mph and 133 feet high along its 5,000-foot-long track.

Constellation Carousel is the area's centerpiece and is an all-ages attraction.

Celestial Park will also house Astronomica, a water-play spot.

Several dining options will be located in Celestial Park: surf-and-turf restaurant Atlantic; the Blue Dragon Pan-Asian Restaurant with Chinese, Japanese and Thai fare; barbecue spot the Oak & Star Tavern; and Pizza Moon.

Retail locations include the Nintendo Super Star Store and sweet shop Moonship Chocolates & Celestial Sweets.

In total, Universal said Celestial Park will house seven acres of water. Various fountain shows, including music, lighting and fountains that reach as high as 135 feet, will take place there during the day and at night.

In addition to two other new hotels nearby, Epic Universe will house Universal Helios Grand Hotel inside the park at the end of Celestial Park.

The 500-room hotel will have park views and a dedicated entrance into Epic Universe.

It was "designed to transport guests to a world where the heavens and earth unite," Universal said.

Other worlds at Epic Universe

Shooting off Celestial Park are Epic Universe's four other themed worlds. Guests will enter each through a themed "portal" designed to transport them into the world.

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter -- Ministry of Magic will invite guests into the British Ministry of Magic from the "Harry Potter" series. The area will also feature 1920s wizarding Paris, as seen in the "Fantastic Beasts" films.

Super Nintendo World will feature characters like Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach and Donkey Kong. Guests will enter via the Mario Bros. video games' iconic green pipe.

Versions of Super Nintendo World already exist at Universal Studios Japan and Universal Studios Hollywood, where they have been popular with guests.

How to Train Your Dragon -- Isle of Berk is based on the "How to Train Your Dragon" franchise. Inside the colorful world, guests will embark on Viking adventures, Universal said.

Dark Universe will feature some of Universal's classic horror films brought to life. There, Universal said, "guests encounter everything from the experiments of Dr. Victoria Frankenstein to the shadowy landscape where monsters roam in a world of myth and mystery."

More details about Epic Universe are expected in the months ahead. Universal plans to open a preview center at Universal CityWalk later this year.
