Vacation Planners, Travel Planners International's new travel agency franchise, has partnered with Tern to provide technology to franchisees.

Tern's technology stack will be available to all Vacation Planners franchises. Vacation Planners agencies will also get enhanced support.

"This collaboration comes at a crucial juncture in the travel industry," Vacation Planners president Jenn Lee said. "Consumers increasingly demand personalized and seamless vacation-planning services, while travel advisors urgently seek technology that anticipates future trends and needs."

Travel Planners International (No. 35 on Travel Weekly's Power List) announced the franchising business with Lee at the helm earlier this year. She transitioned from her former role at TPI, vice president of industry engagement and support, to Vacation Planners president.

Tern has worked with the agency community in building its products; the company bills itself as an all-in-one platform for advisors. It includes a CRM tool, commission tracking, itinerary creation, a cruise tool and AI features.

Lee said Vacation Planners is currently working with Tern to ensure forms, workflows, automated processes and legal documents are ready to go.

"This allows them to focus on what they do best: curating unforgettable travel experiences, serving their clients and scaling their agencies," she said.
