Disney Cruise Line's ship coming in November 2025, will sail from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale.
In March, Disney said the Destiny will have a heroes-and-villains theme, embracing the "dynamic duality of every great Disney story, where opposing forces of light and dark drive characters to rise to their destinies." The ship will feature venues and entertainment inspired by Disney, Pixar and Marvel characters.
A dining experience called Pride Lands: Feast of the Lion King will feature a savannah-inspired venue with depictions of animals and nature. A window-lined back wall will transition from sunrise to sunset during the meal.

The venue will feature performances of "Circle of Life," "Hakuna Matata" and a mash-up of "I Just Can't Wait to Be King" and "Be Prepared," which will highlight the story's hero-villain dynamic.
The ship's Incredibles-inspired sweet shop will resemble fashion designer Edna Mode's lab, where the superhero family's costumes are made. The lab will be transformed into a confectionary called Edna a la Mode Sweets, which is inspired by the "Auntie Edna" short film. The shop will serve handmade gelato, ice cream, cookies, candies and specialty treats.
Movie themes abound
Other venues will include casual walk-up cafes serving coffee, tea, specialty beverages and snacks. One will be named Cafe Megara, named after the independent heroine from "Hercules" with nods to the film's Greek gods. The other will be called Cafe Merida and is inspired the Pixar movie "Brave," which takes place in the Scottish Highlands.
The Destiny's staterooms will showcase custom artwork featuring Disney legends. Concierge staterooms and suites will feature the story of "Fantasia" with watercolor-style artwork and seven special oceanview rooms directly above the bridge will include iconography of "The Incredibles" and floor-to-ceiling views.

The ship will also include Hero Suites that are inspired by Greco-Roman architecture, colors and patterns. The "IncrediSuite" is inspired by "The Incredibles" and has a midcentury-modern aesthetic.
The 144,000-gross-ton Destiny will be powered by liquefied natural gas and is one of three ships Disney is working on. The Disney Treasure is due out in December, followed by the Disney Adventure and Destiny in 2025. The Adventure will homeport in Singapore.
