Soon to be the largest ship in Disney Cruise Line's fleet, the Disney Adventure will sail three- and four-day cruises to nowhere when it begins operating out of Singapore in 2025.

The 208,000-gross-ton vessel will feature a large hub called the Disney Imagination Garden, which will take on the look and feel of being inside a storybook in homage to a century of Disney stories.

The area will include blooming flowers, shaped topiaries and tall trees resembling paper cutouts. Other cutout-like props will include trellises and lanterns, and characters and designs from Disney, Pixar and Marvel stories.

"The size and scale of this space provided us with so many opportunities to dream by and try new things with our experiential design," said Laura Cabo, portfolio executive creative director for Walt Disney Imagineering.

The area is one of seven themed areas on the Adventure, a ship Disney acquired in late 2022 after its former owner, Genting Hong Kong, went bankrupt. Other areas include the Disney Discovery Reef, San Fransokyo Street, Wayfinder Bay, Town Square, Marvel Landing and Toy Story Place. DCL plans to release details about these areas at a later time.

The Imagination Garden will include an open-air garden and a three-deck storybook castle art piece. At the top of a grand staircase will sit a courtyard and bar surrounded by trees and adorned with animal characters, like Abu from "Aladdin."

The hub will also have a theatrical stage with three-deck-high LED screens and special effects, two quick-service dining options, a bar, and a new cabin category of garden-view staterooms.

The line anticipates guests will interact with stories from Disney, Pixar and Marvel in the Imagination Garden. For example, the Garden Stage will host an "Avengers Assemble!" show with stunts and special effects and Deadpool's debut on Disney Cruise Line. The show will feature a battle of Marvel superheroes and villains, including Spider-Man, Iron Man, Captain America, Black Widow, Thor, Black Panther, The Scarlet Witch, Ms. Marvel, Loki, Red Skull, Taskmaster and others.

Restaurants in the area will be included in the cruise fare and inspired by animated movies "The Jungle Book" and "Moana." Both venues will offer indoor and outdoor seating, with tables on either patio offering a view of the Garden Stage.

Mowgli's Eatery will serve Indian cuisine, including vegetarian and regional dishes in a nod to "The Jungle Book." Gramma Tala's Kitchen will be a quick-service restaurant that will feature décor inspired by the Pacific islands and art based on the film "Moana." The menu will include items from the Pacific and Asia.

The Adventure will serve the Asia market. Disney has committed to sailing out of Marina Bay Cruise Centre for at least five years as part of an agreement with the Singapore Tourism Board.
