Internova Travel Group has settled its litigation with host agency NousTravel and former Altour employees Barry Noskeau and Anthony Lee Thomas.
According to a statement from Internova, a settlement was reached on Aug. 8.
Earlier this year, Internova filed two lawsuits against NousTravel, Noskeau and Thomas -- one against Thomas in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York and one against Noskeau in Travis County, Texas.
Internova alleged NousTravel performed the same functions of its Altour division and that Thomas and Noskeau breached contractual agreements by taking trade secrets and soliciting employees.
Thomas denied the claims via court filings. Noskeau had said the lawsuits were being "vigorously contested."
NousTravel will continue operating. In a statement, the company said, "The settlement between the parties resolved all claims and was entered into to avoid ongoing protracted litigation by Internova. NousTravel and its founders always have, and always will, act honorably and consistent with its obligations. Now that the matter is settled, NousTravel will continue to grow its business and focus on our mission to be a home to the travel industry's most successful and productive independent contractors."
Internova said in a statement, "We filed suit earlier this year to protect our interests and enforce our restrictive covenants with Thomas and Noskeau. We are satisfied with the terms of the settlement and believe it upholds the integrity of our contracts rights and values of Internova Travel Group."
