Future Found Sanctuary, a five-star retreat owned by Newmark Hotels & Reserves that is situated on the slopes of Cape Town, South Africa's Table Mountain, announced the launch of a series of wellness packages aimed at providing guests with a holistic and regenerative experience.
The new offerings, which will be available starting Sept. 13, were developed by Steve Uria, Newmark Hotels & Reserves' wellness director. Uria stated that the retreats aim to cater to a growing trend of travelers seeking more than just a traditional hotel stay.
"People are no longer looking to just book a hotel stay but to regroup, recover and regenerate. To meet this demand, we have put together a series of small-group wellness retreats, hosted at Future Found Sanctuary, that are designed with a great mix of physical, emotional and mental modalities to help people reset during their stay with us," said Uria.
What's included
The retreat packages range from a two-night Reset Retreat, focusing on personal wellness assessments and guided walks, to a five-night African Horizon Retreat, which includes a deeper dive into mindfulness practices and local cultural experiences. All packages offer a blend of physical activities, such as yoga and hiking, with mental and emotional practices like meditation and sound journeys.
In addition to the structured activities, guests can enjoy the sanctuary's luxurious amenities, including spa treatments and gourmet meals made with locally sourced ingredients. The surrounding Table Mountain National Park also offers opportunities for hiking and exploration.
